Course Overview

The course develops knowledge and practical understanding of the energy transition in the context of sustainable development, with a focus on the offshore wind sector. It highlights the importance of innovation, new business models, and leadership approaches as key elements for building competitive advantage in the face of complexity, rapid change, and environmental transformation.

Course Highlights

Students explore megatrends, the climate crisis, renewable energy development, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Topics include circular and regenerative economies, system thinking in organizations, inclusive leadership, stakeholder cooperation, and strategies for sustainable innovation. A project-based approach allows students to design practical solutions for real-world challenges in sustainable development and the energy transition.

To provide students with knowledge, tools, and skills to design and implement responsible and innovative solutions for sustainable development and the energy transition, particularly in the offshore wind sector.
